The Virtual University: Challenges and Possibilities

This article discusses the possibilities and the problems that encloses education that uses technology and virtual reality. It provides a very basic conceptualization about the key issues to be addressed, a brief description and a comparative analysis of advantages and disadvantages of including technological means in educational tasks. It ends with a reflection on the possibility of creating virtual universities in response to the actual challenges in education.
