It moves beyond the traditional input-based approach to prioritize learning outcomes, continuous improvement, and social responsibility. MGE2024 encompasses all educational levels and modalities, includes value-added indicators, and introduces institutional support after accreditation. Additionally, it promotes a cultural shift within higher education institutions toward authentic, reflective, and formative evaluation. Thus, evaluation becomes a development strategy with social impact, aligned with international standards and humanistic principles, positioning accreditation as the beginning of a continuous improvement and institutional learning process.
2025-08-08T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 https://universita.ux.edu.mx/universita-ciencia/article/view/1333 I recognize you as a macha; i recognize you as a hembro: the harsh hetero-normative construction that fosters male hegemony 2025-05-08T15:46:00+00:00 Ubaldo Márquez Roa ubaldo.marquez.roa@gmail.com
This research analyzes the construction of male identity based on heteronormative models and their impact on various spheres. In the linguistic domain, it examines the absence of the term “hembro” as evidence of structural discrimination. The field of health addresses the biodescodification of illnesses resulting from patriarchal oppression, which hinders the free development of personality. In education, it explores coeducational models that promote equitable life projects and contribute to dismantling the heteronormative paradigms that affect heterosexual men. Through an interdisciplinary approach grounded in neuroscience, this study examines hegemonic masculinity and its impact across different areas, directly impacting human dignity and fundamental rights.
2025-08-08T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 https://universita.ux.edu.mx/universita-ciencia/article/view/1335 The perception of service quality in higher education. The case of a private university located in the city of Xalapa, Veracruz, Mexico, from October 2023 to April 2024. 2025-05-09T20:24:15+00:00 Jesús Escudero Macluf rarano@uv.mx Luis Delfín Beltrán ldelfin@uv.mx Carlos Hernández Rodríguez carloshr@ux.edu.mx Raúl Manuel Arano Chávez rarano@uv.mx
Knowing the level of satisfaction that consumers have with the product or service offered is a fundamental aspect since it contributes to achieving success in an organization, which is why for senior management to have diagnostic information on this factor is very important for decision making. The main purpose of this study was to estimate the level of perception of quality in the service experienced by students who attend a private university to obtain a bachelor’s degree or engineering degree, for which a survey was applied to a sample of 334 students. The data obtained allowed us to conclude that the current level of perception of students on the quality of service that they have just received from the university is GOOD. It also allowed us to conclude that “student seniority” could be an influential factor and that the gender of the informant does not influence the perception of the construct.
2025-08-08T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 https://universita.ux.edu.mx/universita-ciencia/article/view/1328 Association between sensory processing sensitivity and susceptibility to reinforcement immediate and delayed and susceptibility to punishment anticipated 2025-06-02T20:55:05+00:00 Fátima Mireya Reséndiz Morales 1343049e@umich.mx Ferran Padrós Blázquez fpadros@umich.mx Karina Salud Montoya Pérez kaitamontoya@gmail.com
To date, there are no studies that relate Sensory Processing Sensitivity (SPS) and susceptibility to reinforcement (immediate and delayed), as well as with susceptibility to punishment (immediate and anticipated), therefore the objective of the present research was to study this relationship. The EPAS, ESCA and ESRID scales were administered to measure these variables to 314 adults (M=27.33; SD=8.91). The most notable of the results were that high sensitivity is moderately related to high susceptibility to well-being due to not obtaining reinforcement from the ESRID and fear of rejection from the ESCA, and weakly related to well-being due to reinforcement from the ESRID and caution from the ESCA. Thus, it can be inferred that the relationship of high sensitivity is moderate with short-term susceptibilitie but attenuates or disappears in the medium and long term.
2025-08-08T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 https://universita.ux.edu.mx/universita-ciencia/article/view/1350 China's influence in Africa: the Belt and Road Initiative 2025-06-19T15:15:44+00:00 Mauricio Lascurain Fernández mlascurain@uv.mx Daniel Romero León daromero@uv.mx
The Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) is a Chinese global infrastructure project that seeks to revitalize the ancient Silk Road. In Africa, the BRI has financed projects in sectors such as energy, telecommunications, and transportation, with the aim of increasing regional connectivity and economic integration. However, China’s growing influence in Africa has raised concerns about debt sustainability and economic dependence on China. This article analyzes the influence of the BRI in Africa, covering its progress, Sino-African economic relations, and its multifaceted implications. To do this, a qualitative methodology was used that allowed for the review of empirical evidence from the most relevant texts on the subject, and thus to examine the progress of the BRI on the African continent, as well as the relationships and interactions between China and Africa, and the implications of these relationships. It is concluded that the BRI has left a considerable mark on the interactions between China and Africa. Despite having fostered economic and social advantages, it is imperative to address the obstacles in order to ensure sustainable and inclusive progress on the continent. It is necessary to promote greater transparency, involvement of local communities, and responsible debt management, with the aim of maximizing the benefits of the initiative and mitigating potential risks.
2025-08-08T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 https://universita.ux.edu.mx/universita-ciencia/article/view/1339 Collaborative economy and tourism sustainability: a review of the state of the art 2025-06-21T18:02:19+00:00 Reyna christian Sánchez-Parra reynasanchez@uas.edu.mx Eleazar Gonzalez Alvarez eleazargonzalez.fca@gmail.com Karina Azucena López-Inda klopezinda@uas.edu.mx
The collaborative economy, driven by digital platforms like Airbnb and Uber, has transformed traditional markets by encouraging more efficient resource use and promoting sustainability. This study analyzes its influence on tourism sustainability, highlighting benefits such as promoting inclusive and responsible tourism through shared accommodation and transportation practices. However, several challenges also arise, including pressure on natural resources, infrastructure strain, and a lack of understanding regarding its social and cultural impacts on local communities. This relationship is examined using a qualitative approach based on the Kitchenham method and data sourced from the Scopus database. The study concludes that, although the collaborative economy presents opportunities to advance toward more sustainable tourism, it is essential to address regulatory challenges and balance economic benefits with environmental conservation and community well-being.
2025-08-08T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 https://universita.ux.edu.mx/universita-ciencia/article/view/1341 The right to privacy in México in the face of artificial intelligence and big data: regulatory challenges 2025-07-08T18:24:48+00:00 Allegra Tellez Dominguez allegratellez564@gmail.com
The article analyzes the right to privacy in the digital age, how it has become a fundamental challenge for Mexico, highlighting the challenges of regulatory gaps and digital illiteracy. A single-case experimental design was used, with pre-test, post-test, and six-month follow-up measurements. The intervention included psychoeducation, cognitive restructuring, and problem-solving training. Results showed significant improvement in ART adherence and clinical reductions in affective symptoms. Although a slight rebound in anxiety and depression was observed at follow-up, levels remained below the severe range. Findings support the utility of brief CBT interventions to improve mental health and ART adherence among people living with HIV.
2025-08-08T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 https://universita.ux.edu.mx/universita-ciencia/article/view/1338 The Use of systematic review and its importance in the construction of research 2025-07-21T16:47:46+00:00 José Enrique Hernandez de la Cruz enrique_96_hernandez@hotmail.com Katia Alejandra Castillo Castillo katiacastilloc@hotmail.com
The purpose of this research is to analyze the importance of systematic reviews in conducting research, especially those conducted through action research, as well as the process generated during the application of this method, which allows for the generation of excellent quality information. Despite the availability of effective treatments, poor therapeutic adherence remains a critical barrier to achieving disease control. This article presents a clinical and salutogenic intervention proposal based on the principles of cognitive-behavioral therapy and positive psychology, aiming to improve both treatment adherence and psychological well-being in adolescents diagnosed with uncontrolled asthma. The intervention involves structured group sessions that address dysfunctional beliefs, strengthen self-efficacy, promote positive emotions, and enhance personal and contextual resources. This approach not only seeks to reduce distress but also to foster psychological flourishing among adolescents, representing an innovative perspective that opens new avenues for clinical intervention and research in this population, as well as in individuals with other chronic conditions.
2025-09-02T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025
