In this research, which is focused on carrying out a business plan for an imported and national organic food marketer in the City of Xalapa, it is intended to begin by describing food in general, as well as organic food, its composition, the certifications that are needed to have this recognition, the countries in which they have the greatest presence will also be described, the same will be done in our country, mentioning which States of the Republic are the largest producers. This paper shows the area of opportunity, the methodology used and the theoretical reference, pending the development of the business plan.
