Diagnosis of the Democratic Political Culture of the Bachelor

This article highlighted the importance of civic and ethical education, as an essential element in the development of a democratic political culture of high school youth. The transition towards democracy, through the reforms to the electoral political system, represented a significant advance, but it has not achieved its consolidation, it has left pending its evaluation and feedback for the construction of a new democratic political culture. Previous studies have shown that civic and ethical education studies the norms and values that allow an individual to act responsibly within society. For this reason, this work wondered if, through the knowledge of this type of education today, high school students acquire the ability to interpret political information, to develop a critical analysis of democracy, fostering collaboration skills and attitudes of stake.
