Legal Regime of Electronic Commerce and Intellectual Property in Mexico

As it happens in many cases, the development of the New Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) was advanced to the legal field in its development, with the configuration of the information society and knowledge have emerged in practice various figures that the law has had to regulate to give certainty to those acts and the parties that intervene in them, among which electronic contracts, electronic commerce and intellectual property stand out, this last one that although it is not exclusive of the TIC's has It has gained great relevance in recent years. Therefore, the objective of this paper is to approach with an explanatory approach the legal framework that regulates these figures, their progress, challenges and perspectives in order to illustrate the reader on the subject, for this, this work collects and updates some of the ideas that we have previously raised in other investigations (Báez, 2015).
