Music is an art that accompanies life from the beginning of history; is the set of combined sounds that are pleasing to the ear, musical intelligence includes musical genre skills, people with mental disabilities have a special sensitivity to music, music has positive effects on cognitive, creative, intellectual and psychological development , as it has been shown to stimulate the left hemisphere of the brain, music as a strategy cannot always be used, but rather it is necessary to choose themes that will be worked with the group, but we must emphasize that music as a didactic strategy is one of the best resources that a teacher can use to support the teaching of different topics.
