Responsibility in the Permanent Training of Teachers at the Higher Education Level

The purpose of this paper is to present the case of a higher education level teacher who, after some critical incidents occurred in his teaching practice, decides to take responsibility for his ongoing training process. In this brief review, the causes that motivated this teacher to dedicate himself to teaching will be mentioned. One of the problems presented by the teaching of the university chair is precisely that some teachers at a higher level do not fulfill their responsibility of permanent training, for which the case will be analyzed from the point of view of the personal dimension of the teacher in his practice. teacher, in order to understand what motivates them to seek their permanent training, if there is any ideal conduct rule to follow so that the teacher acts responsibly in their permanent training and finally to investigate if there is a code of professional ethics that induces to the strengthening of teaching practice. At the university level there is a great concern in universities to provide students with a quality education, however, one of the deficiencies that can be observed is with respect to the initial training of teachers.
