Reflection: an Essential Activity in Teaching Practice

The reflective practice in teachers must be a permanent activity, it includes any relationship that occurs between teachers and students. This seen not with a curricular purpose or a requirement of administrative areas, we see it as the opportunity for a critical pedagogical intervention that occurs before, during and after the working day. In this text we will deal with 1) reflection as a strategy for planning, 2) reflection based on interaction in the classroom and work with students, 3) reflection based on the results obtained in the evaluations. Matters that we consider to be closely related, each of the aspects indicated is affected by the others and it is essential for us to work on them together to develop the maximum potential of both the teacher and the students at all times.
