Self-regulation, this is characterized primarily by learning to know ourselves and from there to regulate ourselves, being really aware of what we do or learn. Within self-regulation, different processes are managed to achieve our objective, the processes are cognition, metacognition, context regulation and motivations. In order to be a self-regulated person, a lot of willingness is needed and, above all, we must seek motivations that help us reach the goal we set for ourselves. In order to achieve self-regulation in another person, you have to start with yourself, you must learn to be reflective and critical of what we do every day, so that later we can promote self-regulation in some students or even in people close to us. Self-regulating our behavior is not easy, but we must begin by observing ourselves and verifying that we have been doing something wrong when it comes to learning, but it is not only necessary to observe and realize that we are wrong or we are right, it is about being aware and it improves every day
