This paper analyzes the development of the automotive industry in Mexico since the beginning of history when the first vehicles were introduced in our country. This article presents an approach to the thesis that will be presented and defended in the near future. mention that the information presented is only a small synthesis of all that exists in the final work, statistical and historical information was collected, and PROMÉXICO, the Ministry of Economy and Automotive Industry Companies were consulted, in the final thesis A chapter will be developed where the effects and economic benefits that this industrial sector has brought to Mexico are described and analyzed.
