Development of the teaching profession in pre-Hispanic and colonial times

The purpose of this work is to publicize the development that the role of the teacher has had within society, as well as their functions when teaching and educating children within the pre-Hispanic and colonial times, in addition to having a clearer vision of how The teacher's role evolved according to six aspects that we will address in this essay and that we will conclude by contrasting this vision with the current perspective of teacher performance. However, due to the extent of the information, it will not be possible to address each of the topics in a very descriptive way, therefore we will briefly reflect on each of these points.
