Education as a fact has a human and social meaning. It has been considered as a process through which the young generations are acquiring the uses and customs, the habits and experiences, the ideas and convictions, in a word, the lifestyle of the adult generations. It manifests itself as a spontaneous influence of the adult on the child and the young person. Education in the different cultures of the pre-Hispanic era was subject to three common purposes: to serve their people in a productive way, to religion through tribute to their gods, and to their family. Consequently, education began at home and was in charge of the parents and was continued later by other people. In the colonial era, during the 17th century, educational life in Mexico did not present significant innovations; In the 18th century, the Spanishization process was more marked, which included the teaching of religious doctrines, reading, writing and numbers. Education has changed a lot from pre-Hispanic times to the present, due to globalization and the economic, political, social and cultural development of the country in which we are immersed.
