What is Democracy?

The word democracy is an extended term in the different areas of daily life, however, defining and understanding it is not a simple task. The descriptive or realistic definition indicates that it is a chosen policy, while the idealistic or prescriptive one expresses that democracy should be a selective policy. Thus, a misfortune, between an election and a selection, there is a crucial difference, which is to highlight, that is, actions in favor of the exclusive faculties of the citizenship, which allows the ownership and exercise of public power, and is right here where modern democracy is carried out, a democracy that is representative, where the people as the holder of power transmit it to others for its exercise, and it is precisely in full respect for this civic will that the essence of what is called democracy and What with reason right the distinction of other political systems.
