Stepparents within Mexican Family Law

The family is the original institution of society; however, social changes have affected its conception and transformation over the years. Situation that has created a legal background, important for the development and recognition for each family member in their rights. The study of this article approach on blended families, specifically on the legal relationships that involve stepparents and their stepchildren in the field of coexistence and social security, questioning whether the legal treatment given to them these people are distinctive or discriminatory in terms of their rights and privileges.
