The Impact of the Use of Facebook for the Mipymes of the Xalapa, Veracruz Tire Sector

The objective of this research is to present an exploratory and descriptive study on the impact of the use of Facebook as a sales tool in micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MiPyMEs) in the tire sector of Xalapa, Ver. through the conversion indicator. For this, the number of tire shops in Xalapa, Veracruz was investigated. Subsequently, an instrument was developed to know the current situation of the tire sector regarding the use of Facebook as a sales tool. The instrument was applied to various profiles of the tire sector in Xalapa, Veracruz. The main result of this study indicates that the tire companies in Xalapa, Veracruz, who use Facebook as a sales tool have a favorable impact on their sales, mostly maintaining a favorable cost-benefit perception.
