Analyzing the figure of presidential re-election in Mexico is a highly relevant issue if it is seen as an option for its incorporation into upcoming political-electoral reforms, starting not only froma political perspective, but also from a social and historical perspective, since Said analysis provides the guideline to generate reflections and arguments on whether or not it would be beneficial, that in the current Mexican legal and political system, the re-election of the president of the republic be incorporated and above all, in what terms and during what period,
should see such a proposal.
