Cybersecurity, Challenges and Prospective

The objective of this article is to establish a perspective of cybersecurity from the point of view of the global and local risks and effects caused by cybercrimes, and in general, the measures to be adopted to counteract their effects. As a definition, “cybercrimes” will be understood as the conduct that constitutes a crime related to violations of the confidentiality, integrity and availability of data and computer systems, computer falsification and fraud, the production, transmission and storage of content through electronic child pornography, intellectual property and copyright, as well as harassment, threats and extortion through electronic means, in accordance with the generality widely accepted worldwide and established in terms of the Budapest Cybercrime Convention
