The objective of this document is to provide an Open Source tool and theoretical knowledge necessary in the implementation of a solution computer security, and to be able to encourage SMEs that it is viable to acquire software without so many specialized hardware costs to be able to comply with most common required security levels, such as a firewall, portal captive, Antivirus and WEB filtering. This Open Source can become Reactive Security Software (SSR) low cost that helps to have countermeasures against different types of attacks and threats in computer security, to which they are compromised communications and information of SMEs. Threats and different cyber attacks are due to low or no protection of SMEs such as open ports, malware, absence of security controls on internet links on demand (commonly installed as ADSL) Without protection of a DMZ and a firewall, lack of WEB control that allows nullify those attacks. Being able to implement SSR Software based on Open Source can help an SME with basic configurations and simple hardware to be able to protect itself a very good level of management.
