Abstract

This work deals with a proposal to highlight the importance of teachers developing the skills to apply the educational strategy based on projects focused on the area of Mathematics in Higher Secondary Education, adapting them to the context in which the educational center is located. To achieve the above, the reflective hermeneutic model proposed by Davini (1995) was considered, where he indicates that the teacher must solve practical situations through wisdom and creativity, therefore there is no set of rules to follow. That is why knowing and developing the skills of the strategy of the Method based on projects focused on the area of Mathematics, adapting them to the context in which the educational center is located, will serve to improve the teaching of students in Higher Secondary Education. With this, it is intended that both the teacher and the students benefit from a more participatory work within the classroom, thus favoring the quality of the teaching-learning processes, which currently the programs have emphasized because they are within the constructivist approaches.
