Abstract

This article presents a review of the research carried out by a server at the Ricardo Flores Magón High School, in relation to the analysis of the generic competences that are worked on in the upper secondary level; same that all students of the educational level must develop, through the implementation of teaching-learning techniques by the teacher. The investigation found important aspects to consider from the perspective of teaching based on the learning-centered study program vs. teaching based on student-centered study programs. Currently the investigation is in process, through the application of questionnaires to the students and teachers of the same institution; That is why this article intends to delve into the current theme of student-centered learning, implemented in Mexican education, after the execution of the Comprehensive Reform of Higher Secondary Education in 2008 by the Secretary of Public Education, derived from the provisions conceived in the World Declaration on Higher Education in the 20th century. It is expected that through this writing, it will be possible to relate the purpose of the investigation with each one of the lines present in this article.
