The symbolic teaching capital is the accumulation of meanings and value attributions sustained in the symbolic interactions that legitimize the teacher's practice in the classroom; Living in a changing globalized society that determines the new trends in education, there is not always a period of adjustment and restructuring of said capital, which may cause a disagreement with the educational reality. The present investigation seeks to establish the profile of the symbolic capital in the teacher in front of the group at the Higher Secondary Level and its influence on educational processes, analyzing the specific case of the "Ricardo Flores Magón" High School in the city of Xalapa, Veracruz. Its study is considered of interest and social relevance, thanks to its academic tradition of excellence and national and international renown, which has led it to be considered an example to follow in education at the level it belongs to, boasting a high symbolic capital of your teaching staff. Due to the nature of the object of study, it is through an interpretative approach that the research is approached in a non-experimental, cross-sectional and correlational way, to determine the relevance of the analysis of symbolic teacher-student interactions in the teaching-learning process of said educational institution.
