Abstract

The political philosophy and its study of the ‘thing’, the polis, the element and form, the citizens and kind of government in the beginning of modernity. In this background we will take a look at the humanity from two points of view, at first sight dissimilar. All of this at the period of time known as a posteriori ‘renaissance’. The text makes a journey through the thoughts of Niccolo Machiavelli and La Boétie, their conception of power, mankind, the nature of complex society, and governments including tyranny. Finally, it will find some articulations, not all of them marginal and some disagreements.

Israel Ladrón De Guevara, Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León

El autor es licenciado en Psicología y Criminología por la U.A.N.L, Maestro en Políticas Públicas por el Colegio de Veracruz. Cuenta con formación psicoanalítica y ha realizado acercamientos a los estudios del arte y las religiones desde visiones histórico-antropológicas. Por otro lado se ha desempeñado en áreas diversas como la docencia educativa, la clínica psicoanalítica y la elaboración de perfiles psicológico-criminológicos para el área de investigación criminal. Actualmente es conferencista activo y colaborador de diversas publicaciones.
