Article 319 of the Civil Code of State of Chiapas establishes that because of family violence, everyone has the right to be respected for their physical, emotional and sexual integrity, as well as their healthy development to join the social nucleus, so that it will count on the assistance and protection of the State, being sanctionable any act of domestic violence. The present work was carried out in the interest of knowing about the treatment of family disputes involving violence and the method of resolution in the jurisdictional area, in a systematized manner and from the point of view of judicial statistics, under the new national and international provisions on human rights, in force since the constitutional reform of 2011.
